LSAT2016:Registration/Examination Schedule Released!

Good news for aspirants keen to pursue a career in the judicial field! The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) schedule and exam time table has been released by Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for the academic year 2016-2017.

LSAT, a regulated exam specially created by USA-based LSAC as an admissions norm by multiple law colleges across the nation is scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016. The LSAT pencil and paper based entrance exam will be conducted across 16 cities in India.

Registration for LSAT-India 2016 begins from April 28. All those aspiring to join the undergraduate and post- graduate law programs in LSAT participating law schools in India may apply till May 1, 2016.

Application Procedure for LSAT 2016:

  • Visit the official website of LSAT 2016 www.pearsonvueindia.com
  • Candidates can register either in online mode (via credit/debit card) or through a demand draft
  • Registration fee is Rs.3800/-
  • The demand draft/pay order/banker’s cheque should reach before the expiry date either by post or courier to:

Paper pattern:
The LSAT entrance exam with a duration of 2 hours & 20 minutes is split into four parts:
Analytical reasoning: 35 minutes
Logical reasoning (part-1): 35 minutes
Logical reasoning (part-2): 35 minutes
Reading comprehension: 35 minutes
The questions are in the multiple-choice format and each section carries 25 marks.

Eligibility Criteria:
Basic eligibility for a 5 years integrated LLB program is 12th with 50 percent marks from a recognized board.

LSAT scores are accepted by reputed institutes like Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law-IIT Kharagpur Law School, Galgotia University Law School, The Jindal Global Law School, UPES Dehradun, KLE Bangalore, Greater Noida and Amity Law School, Gurgaon.
